Unconstitutional & Ubelievable – Michigan Upholds Health Care Provision

7 Oct

– Tisha Casida

Today, a decision was made that verifies the fight we are all in to uphold the constitution and preserve our natural rights. The federal government has overstepped its power to interpret the constitution, and today, Michigan has vilified its citizens and not upheld their rights which are above the powers of both the state and the federal government.

The decision that was made by U.S. District Judge George Steeh, “refused to issue a preliminary injunction to halt preparations for putting federal health reforms into full effect in 2014” (Ashenfelter & Anstett, 2010). The health care legislation is unconstitutional because it forces consumers to purchase something (insurance) – however since the federal government is pie in the sky and has stopped listening to its citizens, the next best thing is to nullify the legislation at the state level.  This is because states have rights BEFORE the federal government. That’s right folks, states have the right to stop listening to the the federal government if the federal government is overstepping its bounds.  The mammoth health care bill that was opposed by a majority of Americans is one of those oversteps.

Know YOUR power – read the constitution.  Know your STATE’S power – read Thomas Wood’s Nullification.  And know that we need to stand up to make the difference – Michigan, this means you!
